Odebrecht’s History in the Country:

Contracted by the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE) in the 1990s, Construtora Norberto Odebrecht was responsible for the Toro I and Toro II dams. Located in Alajuelo, the work was a derivation of the Toro I Hydroelectric project and the Toro II regularization dam construction work.

The project included the deviation of the river, rock filling, waterproofing with a geotextile mat and instrumentation, among other services.
